The Clow Book Sakura discovers the Clow Book lying around in her father's library. When she opens it, she discovers Cerberus (Kero) and the Clow Cards. It was made for the purpose of containing the 52 Clow Cards. On the front is the image of the sun and the sun guardian, Cerberus. Likewise, on the back is the image of the moon and the moon guardian, Yue.

The Clow Key It looks like a harmless toy, but the Clow Key actually contains the weapon Sakura uses to capture the Clow Cards. It looks like a key in the shape of a bird's head. Sakura keeps it in this form for easy hiding. She wears it as a necklace and keeps it hidden under her shirt. When she says the correct incantation, it changes into the Clow Wand.

The Clow Wand The Clow Wand, also sometimes referred to as the Sealing Wand, is what Sakura used in the beginning to capture and seal the Clow Cards. Sakura transforms it from the Clow Key. The head is identical to the Clow Key, but at the end, there's a long pink staff. During the transformation, Sakura swings it around much like a cheerleading baton. When using The Fly and The Sword cards, the Clow Wand changes shape. Either wings will sprout out at the ends or the wand will fully transform into a sword. Sakura uses this wand through-out Season 1 and Season 2 of the anime.

The Star Wand In order to transform the Clow Cards into Sakura Cards, the Clow Wand needed to change into a different form since it will be serving a different purpose. Thus, the Star Wand was created. It works just like the Clow Wand except that it's activated by a different incantation and relies solely on Sakura's magic. It takes the form of a star because Sakura's magic comes from the stars (as opposed to the sun and the moon). Another small difference between the Star Wand and the Clow Wand is that when Sakura uses The Fly card, wings no longer sprout from the wand. The wings appear on Sakura's back instead.

Syaoran's Sword Syaoran's sword is not only his weapon, but can also be considered a "sealing wand" (it's not actually a wand). The sword is usually in it's disguised form, which is a black, circular stone that Syaoran wears around his neck. Syaoran seems to be able to transform it into a sword just by concentrating on it. It looks to be very ceremonious and has many Chinese decorations. Through chants and the use of his ofudas, Syaoran can shoot different elements out from his sword. He also uses it to unleash his Clow Cards.
